Utilitas will be open access for research content from January 2024!


We are delighted to announce that, from January 2024, Utilitas will move to a Research Open publication model, and all articles accepted for publication in the journal from 24th October 2023 will be published open access with a Creative Commons licence. For the Utilitas community, open access means that the innovative research published in the journal is freely and permanently available to all, supporting opportunities for research discoveries. For our authors, open access provides more exposure, wider reach and greater downloads, with 75% of articles published in Cambridge University Press journals receiving 30-50% more citations than their non OA equivalents. We have various options available for authors looking to fund open access publication for their research content, ensuring every author can publish and enjoy the benefits of OA.
